Abstract: 

The paper is devoted to the research and teaching of Vladimir Aleksandrovich Krasilnikov, Honored Professor of Moscow University, recipient of the USSR State Prize, chairman of Acoustics Department at Physics Faculty of Moscow State University from 1975 till 1987.
