Abstract:

The work is devoted to quantitative modelling of regularities in the subjective comparison of the significance of unlike material and mental objects which are of a substantial value for a man. It is assumed that each object is perceived by a man as a complex semantic stimulus characterized by subjective significance and a finite set of the features which are to be taken into account. This assumption allows generalizing the quantitative model developed by us earlier which correlates the subjective evaluation of the quality of the product characterized by a set of unlike features and the price the man is ready to pay for this product. Thus, it becomes possible to construct a mathematical model of the subjective integral evaluation and the comparison of the resources and values a man has and needs in the process of making a decision on their buying and/or exchange.
