Some exact results for probability characteristics of Ferhulst stochastic equation

Abstract: 

Main stochastic characteristics of one-dimentional Ferhulst equation with parameters fluctuations are inverstigated. Some models of fluctuations which reduce to exact results for stationary probability characteristics are studied: Gaussian delta-correlated noise, quasy-static fluctuations, Markoff Gaussian and «telegraph» processes. The probability descriptions are treated both for populations number N and for the inverted quantity 1/N which may be interpreted as normalized unit square. The influence of the intensity, correlation scale and probability distribution of system parameters fluctuations for population stochastic characteristics are inverstigated.
