Abstract:

Investigation results are discussed for the field emission of electron from nanotube carbon structures that are a new material for emission electronics. Made in the form of thin films, they are characterized by a low work function of electrons and ensure a high stable electron field emission under the conditions of normal operating vacuum, as well as a considerable thermal electron cmission even аt low temperatures. Some ways to enhance the field emission from carbon nanotubes are considered.
