Abstract:

Based on continuous wavelet transforms the new method of heartbeat rate variability analysis was proposed. Wavelet analysis proved useful for allocating features in heartbeat rate regulation and for estimating the number of regulative contours for heartbeat rate variability series. There were revealed some typical heartbeat rate reactions at different age groups to various types of external influence. It is shown that «wavelet power spectrum» is а powerful tool not only for the fetus state diagnostics but for general description of heartbeat rate dynamics in transient processes.
