Abstract:
Professor of Moscow State University Yury Lvovich Klimontovich died on 27 November 2002 at the age of 78. A great theoretical physicist, a wonderful, honest, kind and decent man, our teacher and colleague, has passed away. Domestic science and higher education suffered an irreparable loss.
