Abstract:

The possibility of the powerful wide—band decoupler creation is shown, which provides stable operation of wide—band amplifying schemes. Reflected to the preamplifier microwave signal passes the decoupler in the same direction with the electron beam and interacts with it, when the electron rate is lower than the rate of signal propagation in the slow—wave structure and when the preamplifier output signal moves in opposite to electron beam direction with minimum attenuation, corresponding to own loss of electromagnetic system of the decoupler. Band characteristics of the Kompfner effect are investigated, negative influence to interactions in decoupler is studied of powerful wave which entered the decoupler and moved in opposite to clectron beam direction. Specific ways to this effect reduction are proposed.
