Abstract:

The resulis of theoretical and experimental investigations of self—modulation regimes in megawatt power level BWO with the slightly corrugated waveguide аs microwave system are presented. Bifurcation currents corresponding to the oscillations self—excitation, to the transition to the self—modulation regimes with sinusoidal and spikes modulation of amplitude are in the good agreement with the simmlation results, The simplification of generation regimes with the further to simulation can be explained by influence of electron space charge.
