Was born in Rostov-on-Don (1962), and graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Rostov State University (1984). He defended Ph.D. (1999) and doctoral (2021) thesis in a numerical study of vortex and convective fluid flows. He has published over 70 scientific articles on computational mathematics, hydrodynamics, mathematical biology, and nonlinear dynamics. He works as a professor at the Department of Theoretical and Computational hydrodynamics at the~I.\,I.~Vorovich Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science of the Southern Federal University.
