The Report of the Moscow Physical Society was found in the archive of Academician Vvedensky Boris Alexeevich (1893-1969) by Professor Natalia Alexandrovna Irisova, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, and given to Dmitry Ivanovich Trubetskov with a proposal to publish it. The Report is not directly related to nonlinear dynamics, but it contains the history of Russian physics and names known to the world. We would like to draw the reader's attention to the “reporting period” - the historical time in which the document was compiled, marked by “severe difficulties associated with the ongoing war” and pre-revolutionary events.
