Abstract:
In the article the basic life stages of V.D. Zemov, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, one of the first professors of Saratov University, opened in 1909, are briefly covered. The article opens е first publication of V.D. Zernov letters, concerning the events of the period of Saratov University foundation.
The introductory article, comments and preparation of the texts for publication are made by V.A. Solomonov.
