Scale properties of random optical fields: fundamentals and applications
Scaling analysis of speckle intensity fluctuations induced by coherent light scattering by dynamic inhomogeneous media is carried out for different types of scuttering systems. Relations between box dimensions of the intensity time series and corresponding dimensions describing structure от dynamics of the scattering object have been obtained for single scattering systems such as pre-fractal phase screens and ensembles of Brownian particles as well as for multiple scattering objcets. Some applications for morphological analysis of the opticaily inhomogeneous tissues are discussed.
