Abstract:

This article examines the optimization of the parameters of an elastic beam with dynamic vibration absorbers under transverse vibrations. Analytical methods for damping transverse vibrations in the considered elastic beam are obtained. In particular, changes in the optimal parameters of the system are analyzed depending on the mass ratio and the installation locations of the dynamic vibration absorbers.

The article discusses the optimization of the parameters of an elastic beam system under steady-state vibrations with two dynamic vibration absorbers. The problem of transverse vibrations of a beam with two parallelinstalled dynamic vibration absorbers is investigated using the method of series expansion in vibration modes. This method is more convenient for optimizing the parameters of dynamic vibration absorbers for various types of beam vibrations with different boundary conditions, especially when repeated calculations of the amplitude–frequency characteristics of the system are required.
