SERGEY A. LOBOV was born in Nizhni Novgorod, Russia in 1974 He received the B.S. and
M.S. degrees in 1997 and the Ph.D. degree in 2003 from the Lobachevsky State University of
Nizhni Novgorod. From 2003 to 2009, he worked as an IT engineer and programmer. Since
2009, he has been a researcher in the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod. He is
the author of 25 articles. His research interests include spiking neural networks, synaptic
plasticity and learning. He also takes part in implementations of human-machine interfaces,
EMG-controlled robotic devices and neurorobotics.
