Chaotic oscillations in microwave and low-frequency circuits of the Gunn diode generator

Abstract: 

The results of experimental and theoretical researches of operation features of the Gunn diode microwave generator, in which the feedback circuit contains inertial nonlinearity as а connection of the detector and phase-shifting circuit, are presented. It is shown, that there can be chaotic oscillations in а low-frequency circuit of such generator. When the chaotic oscillations in a feedback circuit are excited, spectral line of microwave radiation is widened, and its width is less then frequency band magnitude of a chaotic generation in a feedback circuit.
