Nonlinear shear flow in rotating spherical layers and global atmosphere motion modelling
The influence of vorticity and the restoring effectiveness of Coriolise force are considered. There are the some examples for illustration: the simple theoretical models which are used ordinary for dynamic meteorology and oceanology simulation and the certain peculiarity of the classical flows between rotating discs, cylinders and spheres. Thete are also the results of the numerical investigation of the flow in rotating spherical layers and their instability. The possibilities of the numerical simulation of global atmosphere dynamics are discussed.
