Abstract:

The dynamics of passive mode locking is investigated numerically for unidirectional ring AIG-Nd laser and dye laser. Their spectroscopic parameters ditference determine the difference of their generation regimes: periodic pulse trains for AIG-Nd laser and stationary pulse generation for dye laser. Data are obtained for dye laser on inner pulse structure for high gain factor and on generation regime stochastisation if gain and absorbing line widths are not equal.
