Route to chaos in the piecewise-linear model of the tunnel diode oscillator
The results of both experimental analysis and computer simulation of. the piecewise-linear analog of the oscillator with tunnel diode are presented. A perioddoubling route to chaos on the base of period adding is shown. The bifurcation diagram on the driving parameter plane (the damping parameter - the parameter of nonlinearity) of the piecewise-linear oscillator is plotted. This bifurcation diagram is qualitatively similar to bifurcation diagram of the funnel diode oscillator with the smooth nonlinear "function.
