Abstract:
Possibility of the use of the simple two-mode model is shown, and the process of the longitudinal mode competition is described for the case of a small excess over the threshold, which corresponds to the transition to the multi-frequency regime. It is shown that even a rather broadband (in the scale of the amplification band) frequency feedback dispersion effects significantly both the transient time and the generation regime.
