Abstract:
The new method of numerical processing of analogous EEG signals based on chaotic synchronization phenomena is suggested. A quantitative measure of synchronization is proposed. It characterized the unevenness degree of two—dimensional probability density distribution of mutual phase shift. It is shown that this method can be used both for analyses of functioning regimes and for diagnostics of human brain pathology. The difference between the reaction of left and right cerebral hemispheres on the specified mental work was established.
