Abstract:
In the paper we analyze the mixing process on chaotic attractors of quasi hyperbolic and nonhyperbolic type. Different characteristics of mixing are compared. It was shown experimentally that the mixing rate can significantly change at the presence of noise for nonhyperbolic attractors. We have found the mechanism of noise influence on the mixing process. It is related to the behaviour of instantaneous phase of a chaotic trajectory.
