Amplification of deterministic chaotic signal in system «electron beam - backward electromagnetic wave»

Abstract: 

Numerical simulations of amplification of deterministic chaotic signal originated from Rossler system in «electron beam — backward electromagnetic wave» system (microwave backward wave amplifier) were carried out. It is shown that during the amplification the signal complicates that is demonstrated by distortion of the attractor structure and by increasing of correlation dimension from input to output of the amplifier.
It was found that the chaotic signal is distorted in the same manner as when it passes through the linear filters.
