Dynamic modes of the sensor signal consciousness in neuron­like models: ways to the «neuromorphic» intellect and problems

Universal models of neuron­like type, from which the systems of transformation and identification of information signals are constructed in accordance with pre­determined goals are considered. The models of different levels in a model system are aimed at performing functional operations characteristic of live systems. The presented set of base models and the most obvious dynamic modes of their operation can adequately describe the features of conscious perception and response of live systems to various sensor signals.

Problems of modeling and analysis of infrared thermo maps human brain

This paper presents the approaches and methods for modeling and analysis of the open human cerebral cortex IR­thermo maps. The main goal of the development is to solve fundamental problems: the selection of reliable informative features, which allow detecting abnormalities of the brain, to classify its types, and to delineate its boundaries. The created analytical tools are also directed to the studying fundamental problems related to the mechanisms of autoregulation and compensation in the brain.

Reconstruction of an evolution operator as a technique of analysis of epileptiform electric brain activity

We propose a new method for analysis of electroencephalograms. It is based on construction of a parameterized stochastic model of the observed process (evolution operator). A certain functional form of the evolution operator is proposed. This form describes deterministic properties of the investigated process, as well as stochastic ones. The parameters of the evolution operator are reconstructed from the experimental data by using the Bayesian approach. New («fast») dynamical variables, which allow for the peculiar features of electroencephalogram, are found.

Analysis of epileptic activity of brain in case of absence epilepsy: applied aspects of nonlinear dynamics

The paper summarizes the main results of analysis of electroencephalograms in rats with genetic predisposition to absence epilepsy (WAG/Rij rat strain). Properties of epileptic activity are described in time and in frequency domains; dynamics of epileptic activity is investigated, as well as changes in electroencephalogram structure prior to epileptic discharges. Physiologic interpretation of the investigated phenomena helps in better understanding of the nature of the investigated phenomena.

Reconstruction of neutral time-delay systems

The methods are proposed for the reconstruction of time-delay systems modeled by neutral  delay-di?erential equations from their time series. The methods are successfully applied to the recovery of generalized Mackey–Glass equation and equations modeling ship rolling and human movement from simulated data.

Synchronization of klystron oscillator with delayed feedback in the presence of noise

This work presents experimental results of synchronization of klystron oscillator with delayed feedback in the presence of noise. It was shown, that synchronization e?ect signi?cantly decreases noise level, leads to amplifying of synchronizing signal and shortening of synchronization wideband. When additive sum of harmonic and noise signal are directed to klystron input, signal-to-noise ratio signi?cantly increases due to synchronization.

Modelling of dynamic processes with piecewise linear characteristics

Some problems of modelling of dynamic systems with piecewise linear characteristics are considered. New methods of approximation of the piecewise linear functions, in particular, step functions without disadvantages of the traditional Fourier series expansions are suggested. Some questions of convergence and error estimation of the approximation are explored.

Dynamics of the fitzhugh–nagumo system under external periodic force

In paper on basis of radiophysical experiment analysis of dynamics of the FitzHugh–Nagumo system have been carried out. The dependence of oscillation’s regime in the system from force parameter has been found out. In?uence of the form of the external force signal on the system response has been studied.

Stochastic equations and fokker–planck equation for the order parameters in the study of the noise-induced spatial patterns dynamics

From the viewpoint of the order parameters concept spatial pattern formation in excitable ?uctuating medium was researched analytically. The reaction–di?usion system in external noise was considered as a model of such medium. Stochastic equations for the unstable modes amplitudes (order parameters) and the dispersion equations for the average unstable modes amplitudes were received. Fokker–Planck equation for the order parameters was received.

The research of excited by external signal system of two coupled van der pol oscillators at transition to the regime of amplitude death in the autonomous system

Pulsed driven system of two coupled van der Pol oscillators in the regime of synchronization 1:1 and «oscillator death» is researched. The existence of islands of quasi-periodic regimes on the parameter plane period – amplitude of perturbation in the radiophysics experiment are shown. The di?erent types of oscillations in this system are illustrated.
